SSD GPS Platform Feature: Playback
The route of the vehicle is pretty simple, deliveries from point A(warehouse) need to go to point B (client). Suddenly when they reviewed the delivery unit's trip logs, there was a re-route and a particular stop to a defined location. This triggered the company to investigate further, particularly having the driver questioned so he could explain the sudden changes in defined route. The same driver claimed that they did not go to any other location. This incident lead the Owner to get in touch with SSD GPS since that time, they were already using our service, tracking platform and devices. We were called in to review the incident and with the help of the Playback feature of the SSD GPS platform, we confirmed that the undefined routes happened not just once but several times and upon cross-checking it with the kilometers traveled by said vehicle, the data itself could not lie. The evidence of the misuse of company property, expenses and time was very much ongoing. Eventually, the same driver who initially claimed that they did not go to the questionable locations and stops together with the “pahenante” confessed that they, indeed deliver to that location sometimes, for extra cash.

SSD GPS Platform Feature: Playback and Gas Consumption
Initially, this client was only interested in the GPS tracking devices. Just like most people, the interest with our devices was simple; the need to check the trips made day-to-day and to ensure that these trips are productive and practical, specially for those whose trips are of long destinations. Eventually, client was convinced that his business needed not just monitoring but all the other features we offer. Soon, the client was thrilled to learn that prior to the use of our Playback and Fuel monitoring features, their gas consumption was up to 250-300 liters per trip. This challenged their company to ensure that all trips be maximized in all senses of practicality and discipline, soon after, the consumption was reduced down to 150-200 liters per trip, saving them up to 50-80 liters. As client puts it, he was able to save so much money just because He worked with SSD GPS and our client even had this computation as proof: 50l x 50(diesel price) = 2500 x 3(vehicles) = 7500 (per trip) x 15 (for 1month) = PHP 112,500 savings.

Owner has a collection of Land Cruisers and all of them utilized the SSD GPS devices and platforms. For these luxurious vehicles, the most essential feature was the set up of various digital geofences around the collector’s property. This ensures him that his prized collections are safe and rightfully taken care of. On several instances, SSD GPS’ accurate geofencing has served their purpose by automatically triggering alert notifications to the owner, which gives him security and also a good laugh as it is often his own children who use the prized vehicles.

The existing platform they were using was hard to navigate around and therefore they were not seeing value for money. This allowed us to work with them and as soon as we finished presenting our platform, and making them try it out, they were truly amazed. The SSD GPS User Interface was thoughtfully designed with user-friendly features so that it can be used even without training!

This company have deliveries all over Mindanao, and you can only imagine the logistic demands of such. Our clients work closely with us to ensure the success of their day-to-day operations. In one particularly challenging event, this client called us to report about a particular truck of theirs en-route to Dipolog City then leading to Zamboanga City, the matter of concern is that this particular truck was always offline whenever it is traveling or on the road. We worked with the owner in order to check up on the unit discreetly and was amused that the driver in question has created a way to manipulate and tamper the actual GPS unit. Since, our devices are carefully designed, we were able to provide complete evidence of how the device was purposefully and intentionally wrecked for the benefit of the Driver.

Fuel Monitoring
They have company cars issued to their salesman, every time these salesmen reimburse their gas expenses, it was unusually high. These incidents triggered the Owner to install a GPS device on one of the salesman-issued vehicles. While monitoring, our client finally recognized a pattern of idling. It was evidence that these Salesmen were always staying inside their cars, even during lunch breaks, to sleep and lounge while the car air-conditioning unit was turned on causing their issued cars to consume so much fuel.
